Terms
Terms of service
Effective 2026-05-13
These terms govern your use of the Summit Energy Solutions website (summitenergysolution.com and its subdomains) and the quote-matching service offered here. By using the site or submitting a quote request, you agree to these terms.
The service
Summit Energy Solutions provides educational information about residential rooftop solar and connects interested homeowners with vetted local installers. We do NOT sell, install, service, or finance solar systems directly. Any solar installation is performed by an independent third-party installer, under a separate agreement between you and that installer.
Information accuracy
The information on this site is researched and verified to the standards described in our methodology page. We aim to keep pages current, but utility rates, incentive programs, and policy details change over time. Always confirm specifics with the cited primary source before making a financial decision. The "Last verified" date in the page footer shows when we last checked the underlying sources.
Quote requests
When you submit a quote request, you authorize us to share the information you provided with a vetted local installer who serves your area, and to follow up with you about your request via the contact methods you provided. You can opt out of follow-up communications at any time per the methods described in our privacy policy.
Submitting a quote request does NOT obligate you to purchase anything. The estimates, quotes, and proposals provided by installers are subject to their own terms.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is." We do not warrant that the information will be accurate or current at every moment, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that any specific outcome will result from a quote request or installer engagement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Summit Energy Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the services described here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be flagged on the site. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
